Festival Season 2026: What to Wear & How to Pack It
Summer in the UK means one thing: festival season. From the fields of Glastonbury to the stages of Wireless, from TRNSMT up in Glasgow to right here on our doorstep in Liverpool — 2026's lineup is stacked.
Whether you're a seasoned festival veteran or heading to your first one, the kit you bring makes or breaks the experience. Here's what we'd pack.

What to Wear: The Festival Formula
The golden rule: look good, stay comfortable, be ready for anything. British weather doesn't care about your plans.
Layer up. A lightweight tee is your base — something breathable that works in the sun and under a jacket when the temperature drops at 9pm. A windbreaker or quarter-zip is non-negotiable; it packs small and earns its place every single time.
Bottoms that move. Technical shorts or joggers with a bit of stretch — you're on your feet all day, covering ground, dancing, queuing. Comfort is performance here.
Footwear. Trainers for dry weather, something you don't mind getting muddy if the forecast looks sketchy. adidas classics hold up well and look the part.
